Dear Friends

This again is a stuuner of a news.Surkumar had signed in for Salgaocar. How is that he has joined Mohun Bagan. On one hand we see that others are getting the players from other clubs, which the players had signed for, on the contorary,EB is finding very hard even to get the transfer orders for its own player, the example is Dayoub of Lebanon. What was the coach who had recruited the foreigners, doing at the time of recruitment.Did'nt he see the terms and the conditions which governed Dayoub when he had signed for Al-Safa, his Lebanon clubTill the moment we have this coach whom we call it Mr Subash Bhowmik, we will stand nowhere at all.East Bengal has to be ROUGH when it comes to administration, and tough when it comes to administrating and managing the players and their activities, and this again, at the start of the tournament is surfacing and hitting the clubThe loss against TFA, the cadets have proved that the club is still not on its feet to achieve any feat.Morning shows the day, and if todays loss is the morning, it sows us what lies ahead in the season

Thanks

Regards

  1. Shyamalda,

How did you manage to watch Kolkata TV from Bangalore? What cable/dish connection you are having ?

I won't comment on our performance before I see it with my own eyes and for that I need to wait for Zee Sports to telecast our matches.

But one thing I can comment even before watching any of our matches is that there is no alternative to homework. The old PK-Amal formula of eke oi position-e namiye bajmat kore dilam won't work nowadays. There should be proper homework and practise behind all surprise moves.

And,to Bhowmick and all who want to do newer things in life,

You should know when to experiment and when and where not.Just follow how Houghton persisted with Subrata Paul all throughout his practise matches ( and even in the unimportant group league match against Syria).

Lastly, why was Berger not fielded against Chirag,

Was it because of wet and slippery ground conditions or did he get injured against TFA?

  2. As a coach you should always be a magician and surprise opponents with new moves and tricks but you all know the success recipe of all magicians-practise, pratice and practice.

If you don't practise and try out new tricks on match day you are likely to called a joker at the end of the day
